Harvey – Premier League Futsal

Newly appointed youth referees officer Harvey Newstead was given the opportunity to referee Premier League Futsal alongside Tim Sadler and Harry Diggens on the 14th January in Kettering. Last weekend he was joined by Andy Moncur to referee across Saturday and Sunday in Swindon. Across the weekend we refereed many academies including: Brighton, Charlton, Chelsea, West Ham, Fulham, Watford, Reading on Saturday. Reporting Cautions

We are receiving reports of several matches where referees have issued cautions during the match, but these have not subsequently been reported to Norfolk County FA. It is an FA and a League requirement that all cautions must be reported. If a referee is unsure on how to do this, please ask them to join our 'NCYFL Referees' group or contact our Referees Officer (Peter.Ford@ncyfl.co.uk)

Respect Monitor Guidelines

Thank you for taking on the role of a Respect Monitor. This is a new role which is being introduced to help improve the standard of behaviour at all games in the Norfolk Combined Youth Football League. Laws of the Game Changes

There have been more than 95 amendments to the LOTG.  Some key changes are summarised below: - 1.The ball no longer has to go forwards at kickoff 2.It is now possible to receive a red card before the match starts 3.An end to ‘triple punishment’ (see next image) 4.Players injured during a foul by the opposition (which results in a yellow or red card) no longer need to leave the pitch after treatment 5.Penalties – Referees are instructed to yellow card a penalty taker who "illegally
