The Canaries Trust are pleased to announce a Women In Football Q&A, to be held at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday 12 November 2020.
On the panel, we are excited to have joining us:
Zoe Ward, Business and Projects Director. With a wealth of experience in football, including working for the Premier League and Liverpool F.C., Zoe is one of a small number of women working at the higher levels of national football. Her role includes working on player liaison, first team and academy operations.
Mariela Nisotaki, Domestic and European Lead Scout. Joining Norwich City as an analyst, she soon made the switch to player recruitment. How do you go about scouting a player like Emi Buendia or Teemu Pukki – we’re looking forward to hearing about that, and how Mariela finds working in a very male-dominated world.
Deborah Dilworth – Football Supporters Association (FSA) Championship Network Lead and Women’s Lead. Ever wondered what the FSA is all about? Now’s your chance to ask the question of Debs, who along with a dedicated team at the FSA, works hard to ensure that Supporters Trusts and Fan Groups are supported in their dealings with their Club, have access to information around Memorandum of Understanding, governance, etc. The FSA also spear-heads campaigns such as Twenty’s Plenty and the current Sustain The Game initiative.
Di Cunningham, Proud Canaries and Norfolk F.A. Director for Inclusion. Di is a well-known figure around Norfolk football, having been an integral part of Proud Canaries since its launch in 2013. Proud Canaries was the first officially recognised LGBT supporters group at the time of its launch and works with the Club to promote inclusion for all, and to challenge discrimination. The Q&A is open to all, both Canaries Trust members and non-members alike, and we hope that you will join us, for what promises to be an interesting discussion with some of our leading women in football.
