International Women’s Day 2023

It is International Women’s Day on 8th March 2023 so it's a good time to celebrate the achievement of females who have participated in NCYFL and gone on to be successful in football. Heading Trial Information

NCYFL have signed up for the FA trial but only for U7-U10. U11’s and U12's will continue as they would normally. Guidance will be provided for managers, players, those who officiate games and spectators. The FA will also want feedback on the experience from all those involved.Why are they doing the trial? 2022-23 Fixture Calendars

The league committee have produced a calendar for fixture weeks for all age groups. This also incorporates Norfolk FA County Cup weekends, and overspill. Clubs should expect fixtures from NCYFL on all weekends marked in green, yellow or purple. All fixtures are subject to change.

Refereeing Event

We're hosting an event on Tuesday 8th February on Microsoft Teams with a variety of match officials and coaches. The idea of the event is to help both coaches and referees understand any frustrations of difficulties they find in the game. January Newsletter

League Event We held a league event to talk to clubs in November about a range of topics. ​ Club administration was high on the agenda due to the impact of match cards not being completed. We had to make a decision to ask managers not to use the Matchday App due to the unreliability of this and data going through to Full-Time. The position on match card completion has improved, but we do still have some managers who have to be chased regularly in order

theFDC@Flegg Pre-Season Festivals

Following a lengthy tournament layoff we are pleased to announce a number of Pre-Season Festivals will be taking place on the 3G pitch during August and September.   These tournaments will be held on Monday and Friday evenings and are slightly different to those held earlier in the year. Rather than all age groups taking part in 5v5 tournaments we are tailoring them to the specific format you'll be playing throughout the 2021/22 season.
